46. OPOR / RESISTANCE / Warsaw, Poland

Praga district in Warsaw was one of the centers of Polish resistance during the second world war. Some buildings in this area show history on its walls, where we can keep seeing impacts from bullets and bombs. This buildings have resisted to the nazi occupation, then to the soviet ocupation and now they have to confront a new occupation: Capitalism, throught regeneration of the area, is trying to demolish this old façades to enter in a process of gentrification. The same history anywhere.

“Resistance” want try to be a warm up to those buildings and people that resist; an encouragement to keep the warm against globalisation; same as a big radiator that protect us from outside cold winds.

So many thanks to Kasia and Przemek to make it happends and Sr.Marmota for his roller skills.
